Scouts mourns the loss of our Patron, HM The Queen

The members of the City of Newcastle District Scouts, join Scouts across the UK and the world, in mourning the loss of our beloved and long serving monarch and Patron, HM The Queen. We are deeply saddened and offer our condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.

Her outstanding service, dedication, kindness, and support was an inspiration to us all. HM The Queen has presented many awards to Scout members from our District, and Her Majesty has been an outstanding role model to all the young people within the movement.

As a mark of respect, all Scout meetings will be held at half mast, and tribute will be paid to HM The Queen.

Rest in Peace, our Patron, Her Majesty the Queen
