The Pauline Armstrong Trophy

Date: 17th Oct 2023 Author: Adam Patterson

The Pauline Armstrong Trophy is the Annual Beaver Collage Competition, enjoyed by many Colonies.

Date: Friday 10th November 2023

Time: 5:30 pm drop off – 6:30 pm collection (please do not arrive earlier than 5.30 as Squirrels meet until 5:15pm)

Venue: 82nd Newcastle’s meeting place: St James and St Basil’s Church Hall, Fenham.

Young people from Colonies can come along, play some games with Beavers from other Colonies and see the displays. Pauline’s family are coming along to do the judging in her memory.

Last year’s winners, the 4th Newcastle, have chosen ‘Beavers in the Wild’ as the theme for this year’s Beaver Collage. The collage should be about 1 metre square, and the Beavers can choose whatever materials they would like to use for the actual collage.

The name of the Colony should be placed on the reverse of the collage.

If you cannot get the collage to the meeting on the 10th, please let Kath or Carol know and we will do our best to ensure it is included. A parent can be asked to bring the collage.

We look forward to seeing lots of young people and their creative art work.
