Introduction

The Fox Patrol is a patrol within the City of Newcastle Young Leaders Unit who provide help and support to District and Group events.

There is training available on how to help with catering, traffic management, communications, etc. and support for external qualifications, helping us build a team of great people to improve District events.

How it all started

On a sunny day at Dilston Scout Camp, 6 young leaders were preparing an activity centred around the infamous riddle featuring the chicken, the dog and the bag of corn: the young leaders hoisted the tail of a fox up the flagpole.
